The three-day fest was an amazing experience and the film was incredibly well-received.
First and foremost, Fragile Waters had its world premiere at Friday Harbor Film Festival on Nov. 7th! The three-day fest was an amazing experience and the film was incredibly well-received. FHFF was a great chance to gauge audience reaction to the film. Every screening had a Q & A session immediately following the film. In each one, all of the discussion and questions centered around the issues. We walked away knowing that our "little" film has succeeded in doing what we'd hope it would; getting people talking about saving the Southern Resident orcas and chinook salmon.

By request, and to help us raise the funds to enter Seattle International Film Fest, we are offering T-shirts (Men's and Women's) and hoodies with our official logo. Since this film is a noncommercial project, there will NEVER be an opportunity to buy film merchandise, other than for fundraising.
The funds we're raising go for the creation and mailing of marketing materials, entry fees and advertising (later, when the fest happens). The entry deadline for the fest is Nov. 3rd...it kind of caught us off guard, since it is in the summer next year. ******This fundraiser is only for 21 days!********** Check it out! Spread the word! Goal: 60 http://teespring.com/fragilewaters Greetings, one and all!
We've been busy; filming, filming and more filming. However, we are very proud to announce that we will be premiering at the Friday Harbor Film Fest as an "Official Selection!" This festival, on San Juan Island, runs November 7 - 9, 2014. So, in just over four months, "Fragile Waters" will be making its debut on the big screen... holy cow... uh, we need to get back to work!!!!!!!!! :) Seriously, the film is coming along awesomely and we truly cannot wait for the world to hear this story. More updates coming soon! Cheers, - Rick |
